It was wonderful to celebrate with our friends at Machado Silvetti at the recent AIA Convention in San Diego. Our work together at Downtown Cary Park was recognized with multiple awards from this year’s design jury. A collaboration between OJB Landscape Architecture, Machado Silvetti, and the Town of Cary, North Carolina, the park integrates architecture, landscape design, and urban planning to create a vibrant downtown destination. The AIA recognized the cross-disciplinary excellence of the park’s design by honoring the design team with the AIA Regional and Urban Design Award, and the AIA Small Project Award for the Bark Bar Pavilion.

The core design team celebrates together on the red carpet during the AIA Awards Gala.
